About the university
European University is located in a
beautiful and safe capital of Georgia, which hosts about nine thousand
international students, most of them studying in medical programs. Tbilisi is an
old city with a 1500-year-old history and magnificent old town, relatively cheap
food and accommodation and most importantly, very safe as the rest of Georgia.
For international students, we
offer English language programs in medicine and dental medicine. Both of them
are accredited by the Georgian National Center for Educational Quality
Enhancement.
The Center has recently acquired
accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), which
gives a right to the Center to accredit medical programs in Europe as well. The
benefits are manifold such as international recognition of Georgian medical
programs and diplomas in the USA, Canada, Australia and other English-speaking
countries.
Programs
Our medical program
is taught for six years, and an awarded qualification is a Medical Doctor. The
students have a full possibility to enjoy a reasonable combination of theory and
clinical practice during their studies. They work in the medical school
laboratories, take part in exchange programs in Europe, participate in the local
and international conferences and publish their theses in our international
medical student journal. The study fee is 5000 US dollar per year.
The dental medicine program
is taught for five years, and the awarded qualification is a Doctor of Dental
Medicine. Students of the program have all opportunities to enjoy rich academic
and student life at university. The study fee is 3500 US dollar per year.
The university dorms
We also offer dorms for our
students. The dorms are located in a safe and ecologically friendly area near
the embassy of the USA to Georgia. The dormitory includes 4700 square meters of
space with a housing capacity of 300 students. Each furnished and well-equipped
room has a bedroom for two students with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, central
heating and a private bathroom. Some common areas include a cafeteria and gym on
the ground floor. Professional residence life staff ensures the maintenance and
safety of the dorms.

Though relatively new to the Georgian higher education sector, European
