Canadian International School is a certified online K-12 school, licensed and accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education in partnership with CEC to prepare students for the online OSSD program, whose goal is to provide students with the opportunity to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma online in a variety of academic subjects.

Primary School at CIS

Secondary School at CIS

Secondary School at CIS is a challenging and supportive environment, resulting in students who are confident, passionate and driven to succeed. Reflecting our international context, our academically challenging Grades 7 to 10 curriculum draws from the best secondary curricula globally and is delivered within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework, while students in Grades 11 to 12 study the internationally recognised IB Diploma Programme (IBDP). As a result, our students develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to remain relevant and
competitive in a changing world.

The Canadian International School Diploma program

The Canadian International School Diploma program is open to all high school and adult students. At Canadian International school, adult and students are welcome to enroll in our OSSD program. Students who are part time in other school systems may register for OSSD to gain academic enrichment, expedite their progress in a conventional high school program, or otherwise fulfill unfinished coursework. Students who intend to earn an OSSD online may apply to pursue a full-time degree.
